Felt like trying out a new style and practicing body types. Although they’re clothed so it might be hard to tell.

This is very cute, I love Serenas body and pose haha ^^ adorable!!! Also the background is lovely xD

I'm struggling with body types at the moment, I can't make wider hips or bigger feet look like a stylistic/shape choice rather than just an anatomy failure!! x_x

I think it helps having someone with another body type next to them. Makoto probably wouldn't have looked much taller than the other girls if i had drawn her by her self. In fact when i first drew her she wasn't that much taller than them. But by having them there it helped me adjust her height. For the hips and feet it really does help to know the anatomy underneath or how it would look if it was bigger. Being a bit chubby myself, i sort of knew where to go with Usagi.

I get what you mean! ...My problem also is that because (like very many) I learned to draw females from pictures/tutorials of highly stylized, skinny teenagers, it's so difficult for my eye to accept different shapes...X_x; I want to draw lovely big hips like everyone else lol. And thanks!!
